CIARH was born on June 27, 1996 with the participation of 8 Institutions for People with Disabilities and an Association of People with Disabilities, obtaining its Legal Personality on September 10, 2001. It is constituted as the platform that brings together the largest number of social organizations civil disability sector in the country; It currently has 36 affiliated Institutions, through which its coverage reaches eight (8) departments of Honduras, providing direct care to approximately 30,000 people with different disabilities.
